We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Sommelier for our high-end Italian restaurant, VENTUNO. You will be responsible for creating and executing an exceptional wine program that complements and enhances our guests' dining experiences. Responsibilities

• develop and manage a comprehensive wine list, including recommendations for pairing with menu items;
• maintain inventory and order wine, ensuring quality and freshness;
• train and educate staff on wine knowledge and service;
• collaborate with kitchen staff to create and recommend wine pairings;
• interact with guests, offering wine recommendations and education to enhance their dining experience.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a Sommelier in a high-end restaurant;
• knowledge of wine regions, varietals, and wine service;
• ability to tastefully sell and upsell wine;
• interpersonal and communication skills.
